Review Panerai Luminor 1950 44 3 Days Chrono Flyback Verde Militare PAM01296

The Panerai Luminor 1950 44 3 Days Chrono Flyback Verde Militare PAM01296, launched in 2021, is part of the Luminor Chrono Flyback series. Its signature feature is the military green Verde Militare dial and flyback chronograph function, limited to 110 pieces. Luxury replica watches cheap, luxury brands watches like Omega, Audemars Piguet, Breitling, Hublot or Panerai replica watches.

The 44mm cushion-shaped case is made of polished AISI 316L stainless steel, as is the bezel. It features Luminor's signature integrated lugs and crown guard, making it highly recognizable. Unlike the standard three-hand Luminor, this watch also has a pair of chronograph pushers, which are positioned on the left side of the watch due to the crown guard, creating a more symmetrical look. The chronograph function is started, stopped, and reset via these pushers. Here I would also like to introduce the flyback function. Flyback means that when you press the reset button, the chronograph second hand will immediately return to the starting point and start a new round of timing. Compared with the three-step operation of "stop the watch → reset → restart" of a regular chronograph, flyback combines the last two steps into one step, which can achieve continuous timing and greatly improve timing efficiency. It is often used in some fields that require precise timing.

The Verde Militare aligns perfectly with the brand's consistent emphasis on military watches. It employs Panerai's signature "sandwich structure": the upper dial is perforated, while the lower layer is filled with Super-LumiNova™ luminous coating, exposed through the perforations to enhance the three-dimensionality of the numerals and markings. The luminescence is also exceptionally beautiful. The outer edge of the dial features a nautical tachymeter scale, allowing for the calculation of speed based on time and distance. While not commonly used in daily life, this visually enhances the dial's nautical instrument-like appearance, fitting its positioning.

The dial layout is also symmetrical, with a 12-hour chronograph subdial at 3 o'clock and a small seconds subdial at 9 o'clock. In addition to the regular hour and minute hands, the central axis features a central chronograph seconds hand and a central chronograph minutes hand—meaning that the time is read using two long central hands, rather than a traditional minute dial. How do you distinguish them? The chronograph seconds hand has only orange tips, while the chronograph minutes hand is entirely orange. The orange accents add vibrancy to the dial, preventing it from looking monotonous. It comes with a military green alligator leather strap with matching stitching and a brushed stainless steel pin buckle.

The Panerai Luminor replica watch features a closed caseback design, which, compared to an open caseback, leans more towards the style of traditional military and tool watches, and is also structurally easier to ensure water resistance and durability. Below the caseback is Panerai's in-house developed P.9100 automatic movement, with a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, equipped with a Glucydur® alloy balance wheel and Incabloc® shock-resistant device. The internal design uses a column wheel with a vertical clutch, a combination common in high-end sports chronographs. Its advantages include a crisper hand movement upon starting the chronograph, avoiding "start-up jitter," and the ability to withstand more start-stop operations. The double mainspring barrels provide a 72-hour power reserve. As a chronograph, the PAM01296 is water-resistant to 100 meters, making it suitable for swimming and wading without worry.
